The Balthazar agency published the 2019 results of the best performing champagne brands in the digital world.

In 2019, champagne houses are gaining ground in terms of digital presence. This year, the overall or social network scores are led by brands from the Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy (LVMH) group.

In this general ranking, we find that three of the top five brands, Moët & Chandon, Veuve Clicquot and Krug, and four of the top ten (with Ruinart in eighth position), belong to Bernard Arnaud’s empire. Moët & Chandon performs very well on social networks. With a strong presence on Facebook, YouTube and Twitter as number one, and on Instagram in second position.

Although brands choose the digital platform that best suits them, Instagram remains a priority. Houses are heavily involved in this network.

The data below is processed by MyBalthazar, thanks to a digital impact score calculation solution developed by the agency. Between January and December 2019, they processed more than 20 million data on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. In addition, to analyzing the Vivino wine scoring application.
