Canada. Our Burning Love cocktail of the month of the Calcutta Cricket Club

It is one of the most known restaurants in Canada. Calcutta Cricket Club is an Indian establishment which draws its inspiration from the nature and the Bengal cooking. This month bartenders of the CCC with Eric Auclair created the Our Burning Love cocktail, a depiction of the LGBTQ+ community’s journey to winning their rights. Via EatNorth.

In a frame coloured with an original design, this restaurant offers delicious culinary. Present for years, it seduced by its copious meals as well as its delicious cocktail parties. Its bartenders, passionate with fruity flavours created a unique just like Our Burning Love, with Eric Auclair’s touch.

Harmonious cocktail party Our Burning Love consists essentially of turmeric, rose water, of cinnamon, rum and mango. The depiction is a delicious sweet drink, the colour of which brings a touch of satisfaction to all the tables. The cocktail is available until September 2nd and takes part in the Shake, Stir and Strainbow fundraiser.

Ingredients

1 1/2 oz. secret barrel cinnamon rum

1/2 oz. ginger liquor

1/2 oz. local honey syrup

1/4 oz. turmeric vinegar

3/4 oz. fresh lime juice

1 oz. mango chilli puree

2 dashes strawberry mah kwan bitters

1 dash hellfire bitters

2 dashes rose water

4 to 6 oz. soda, to top

Garnish

Cinnamon stick and lemon wedge.

Preparation

Combine all ingredients, except garnish, into a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake and strain over ice in a wine glass. Garnish with a lemon wedge and cinnamon stick. Light cinnamon sticks on fire to give burning love effect.
