Miami. Today is National Rum Day, find out how to celebrate it
Rum has been celebrated for two years on August 16, a day dedicated to the Caribbean spirit, especially in the United States. Other countries join the celebration with special events dedicated to rum tasting.
For this second edition of the National Rhum Day Fest, the aim is to highlight the attributes of rum and share a tasting among enthusiasts, specialists and spirit lovers. At least 20 different brands, from the United States to Venezuela, will participate in the event and rum experts will be present at the festival.
The National Rum Day Fest is held primarily in Miami, Florida at the Confidante Hotel in Miami Beach (4041 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach, FL 33140). Buying a ticket gives you access to tastings and many surprises, such as musical live shows or even rum mixology workshops.
