
Marc Darroze gives a Masterclass about armagnac in China
Armagnac expert Marc Darroze gave a master class in China, where he also judged spirits with 110 tasters from around the world.
Marc Darroze went to China to present the Gascogne spirit. Among the destinations of the trip, Fenyang, of the province of Shanxi. Here he was invited to represent the armagnac during the “Spirits Selection by Concours Mondial de Bruxelles”.
Taking advantage of this invitation, Darroze prepared a master class on the subject of French brandies. Together with him, an expert from the cognac region to talk about colombard, ugni blanc and folle blanche.
The Spirits Selection competition counted Darroze among the 110 tasters from all over the world. In addition, a specialist from Mexico, Colombia, the United States, England and China. During three days, among armagnac, a total of 1600 samples were tasted.
