
A cognac-based cocktail for the week
The Guardian brings us The Baptiste cocktail, a luxurious cognac-based cocktail with a top of bitters and cider.

Ingredients
*For one person
50 ml Rémy Martin Cognac 1738
10 ml maple syrup
10 ml fresh yellow lemon juice
1 dash of bitter orange
French Dry Cider
Garnish: orange peel
Preparation
Add ice in a shaker. Add liquid ingredients except cider. Shake and strain into a highball glass with ice. Finish with a cider top, decorate with orange and taste.
Don’t drink and drive. Enjoy responsibly.
