Drappier champagnes, the first carbon-neutral house
It’s a family story over three generations: André, his son Michel and his grandson Hugo.
Launched ten years ago, Drappier champagne has just been awarded the “Innovation Prize” at the 2019 Grand Prix ceremony of La Revue du vin de France. And the grandfather remains very humble on this subject. “Proud is not the word. I am Happy with the work done. “
What is the reason for this beautiful reward ?
It is the first completely carbon-neutral champagne house ! Michel Drappier is at the origin of this approach, which has been in place since 2008.
Thus the champagne brand emits as little CO2 as possible and produces in addition to solar energy. And what cannot be reduced is compensated: the company invests in green energy and environmentally friendly projects.
Congratulations to the family, very nice initiative !
Don’t drink and drive. Enjoy responsibly.
